Updates for DataFlex Styler version 23.0
Styler UI Improvements:
- Added
tooltips explaining what colors and styles are applied to what, valid
values for sliders, etc.
- Added
same column types to Touch and Desktop previews as Material already had
(previously, these only had 3 column types).
- Clicking
on the DataFlex Styler logo now navigates to the Data Access Home Page (https://www.dataaccess.com).
- Added
a version number to the Styler (on the bottom left), based on the latest
DataFlex version the Styler supports themes for.
Styler UI Bug Fixes:
- Some
sliders did not update when a number was entered into the form next to it.
- Fixed
the Styler caption (what’s displayed on the browser Tab button) to always
say “DataFlex Styler”.
- Buttons
in Preview panels were cut off in smaller browsers windows and screens. We
added scrollbars to any containers where this could occur.
- Some
sliders for the Styler used some of the selected styler colors as the
slider and slider position colors.
Fixed bugs in
23.0 themes:
- Fixed
issues with submenu captions being displaced.
Added styling
for controls new to DataFlex 23.0:
- List
column selector: Group Columns, + Add Group, + Add sub group, dropdown
lists for columns use the lightest shade as the background.
- List
Grouping headers use:
- Level
0: Main Dark
- Level
1: Main
- Level
2: Main Medium
- Level
3: Main Light
- Level
4+: Lightest Shade
- Drop
zones for drag and drop use the highlight color as background color and
the warning color as drop zone outline/border color.
Bug Fixes for
older (DataFlex 21.0 and earlier) styles:
- Some
themes were missing the application background color. They now use the
lightest shade (the same for all themes). Applied to 20.1 Flat &
Desktop, 20.0 Flat & Desktop themes.
- Drop
zones for drag and drop were not styled. They use the highlight color as
background color and the warning color as drop zone outline/border color.
Applied to all 20.1 themes.
- Combo
in lists had -5 left margin that caused selected combo text to be cut off
on left. Applied to 20.1 and older Material themes.
